[SatNews] Heavier weight when it comes to pounds is not good... increased pounds when it comes to revenues IS good...

Satellite television broadcaster British Sky Broadcasting has reported their fiscal-year net attributable profit jumped to 878 million pounds, from 259 million pounds in the year-ago period. Results for the year include a net exceptional gain of 336 million pounds, compared to a loss of 192 million in the year-ago period, of which 241 million pounds is included within operating profit. Sales rose to 5.9 billion pounds, from 5.4 billion pounds last year. The firm said that it saw a particularly strong performance in retail subscription revenue which increased by 15 percent, excluding exceptional items, to 4.8 billion pounds, reflecting a 4 percent increase in customers and a 44 pound year-on-year increase in average revenue per user.
