Stellamar + FMI... Chipping Into Lunar Mission (Tech)

[SatNews] Stellamar has inked a deal with the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) for use of its....

....All Digital ADC IP core on its latest Microsemi FPGA based Lunar Landing Mission. Stellamar developed and delivered a customized ADC core for FMI on a two week time frame. This unique ability is due to the completely digital nature of the IP core, and highlights Stellamar’s unique ability to deliver analog capability in a purely digital process.

“We are very happy to be expanding our international partnership base with FMI. FMI is a leading research and development institute with great expertise in space research,” says Allan Chin, CEO of Stellamar. “Many digital FPGA designers are not aware of the array of previously analog blocks that can now be insourced to the FPGA. These teams are also not used to the ASIC-like customization they can now get. Forward looking institutions like FMI are in a great position to take advantage of this technology.”
