[SatBroadcasting(tm)] MEDIA BROADCAST has appointed Bernd Kraus as new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2011. Mr. Kraus follows Helmut Egenbauer who, as previously announced, was appointed Non Executive Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company and President Central Europe for MEDIA BROADCAST’s parent company TDF. Prior to joining MEDIA BROADCAST, Bernd Kraus held several positions at T-Systems as a member of the management committee ICT Operations. Before his time at Deutsche Telekom, Bernd Kraus worked for Siemens Business Services Germany as a general manager for the German Outsourcing Business unit. Until 2002, he was a partner at Management Consultants McKinsey & Co. Inc. Bernd Kraus will be reporting to Oliver Huart, CEO of the TDF Group.
