The Executive Chairman will exercise direct oversight in connection with the activities of IDC's senior management team and the operation of IDC's business in general, while the Corporation continues to streamline its operations. The Executive Chairman will report to the Corporation's Executive Committee and full Board, as necessary. Mr. Adamou has served as a director of IDC since December 2009 and as non-executive Chairman of the Board since March 2010.
Mr. Adamou stated: "Our company is moving in the right direction. We are well positioned and our products are in demand. Our outlook appears strong. In this new position I will be working directly with Frederick Godard, our President & Chief Executive Officer, and the rest of our employees to implement the measures that are required for IDC to grow profitably into our markets and with a greater level of sustainability. To do this we will need to challenge ourselves to become a more entrepreneurial, leading edge and forward looking company."
