Moving On Up . . . at Genesis Networks

Mike Antonovich Paul Dujardin, founder and chairman of Genesis Networks, today announced the appointment of Mike Antonovich as president and CEO of the company, a provider of next-generation global video transmission services and operator of one of the world's most advanced video fiber networks.  "Genesis Networks continues to provide the highest quality service to our growing base of customers, and we are confident that Mike will sustain and enhance our high standards with his deep insights into customers and markets across the globe," said Dujardin. "His appointment adds a wealth of talent and experience to our team at a time of exceptional business growth."

"I am delighted to join Paul and the excellent team he has assembled as we grow Genesis Networks into the premier video-over-fiber optic network on the planet," said Antonovich. "With network locations in over 60 cities on five continents, this company has a reliable and scalable video transport service that is becoming more valuable to the world's best broadcasters with each passing day."  Antonovich will be based in New York at the Genesis Networks headquarters.

Antonovich brings more than 30 years of broadcast and satellite industry sales, marketing, operations, and executive experience to his new position. Prior to joining Genesis Networks, he was president and CEO of The SPACECONNECTION Inc., a wholly owned and independent subsidiary of Telesat Canada, and the industry's largest satellite bandwidth reseller of satellite capacity. Antonovich earlier served as executive vice president, global sales and marketing, and corporate officer of PanAmSat.
