From the champagne reception to a gourmet meal to the end-of-evening dessert and cordials reception, the Gala is always the talk of the industry. Gala 2013 takes place on the evening of Tuesday, March 19, the opening night of the SATELLITE 2013 conference and exhibition, starting at 6:00 p.m. This year we return to the Renaissance, Washington, DC.

From 6:00 to 8:00, SSPI will also present the invitation-only Stellar Reception. In addition to a relaxed and intimate social setting, the Reception features presentation of the Stellar Award for Government Service and the Hall of Fame.

The Stellar Reception will provide an exclusive backstage access to the night's honorees—the 2013 Stellar Award recipients and the 2013 Hall of Fame inductees. Attendees at this invitation-only reception will mingle with top industry executives and the evening's honorees, and will hear from the Stellar Award Recipients. All of the evening's honorees will be honored in a "Parade of Stars" program during the Gala.
