Tampa Microwave has named John Schroder as Vice President for Army Programs. This is a new position established to broaden the awareness of Tampa Microwave’s family of small, light and extremely capable satellite communications terminals and specialized test equipment. Eric Guerrazzi, Tampa Microwave’s President, said, “His background, demonstrated expertise and broad understanding of Beyond Line of Sight communications hardware and infrastructure will be invaluable to us as our products evolve, our business partnerships expand and our addressable markets grow.” Mr. Schroder received an undergraduate degree in Economics from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. He has held business development positions with Intelsat General Corporation, Iridium LLC, MCI, Sprint and Harris CapRock Communications.
