MITEQ had added their Model DNB2-11.725TR, Multiband Block Converter, to its 1/3 rack family of products. This model is designed for applications where multiple frequency translations are needed between Ku- and L-band. The 1/3 rack platform provides flexible configurations for use in many earth station terminals, while only using 1 RU of rack space.

MITEQ has also released its comprehensive Fall 2008 Satellite Communication and Earth Station Equipment CD Catalog (CD-01J). It features around 2000 pages of information, such as the upconverters, downconverters, block up and downconverters, test translators, redundant switchover units, redundant amplifier systems and RF fiber optic links. Specific products include synthesized converters with 1 kHz step size, INMARSAT AFC capable converters, pilot generators and receivers, crystal controlled converters, and custom designed products. Also included is a wide array of technical application notes, a full facility tour along with an explanation of MITEQ’s manufacturing and design capabilities.
