DESCRIPTION:   Wednesday: The pre-conference Policy Forum on Space Settlement begins at 8:30 a.m. with discussions that will focus on the domestic and international legislative and legal landscape related to the development of space settlement architecture, technologies, policy and regulations. Speakers include policymakers, academics, government and private sector subject matter experts.
Thursday-Sunday: The ISDC begins with an opening address by NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine at 8:30 a.m. and continues through Sunday with plenary sessions, concurrent tracks and a student-focused program. The conference offers multiple networking opportunities with a variety of receptions, lunches, dinners, after-hours social events and exhibits. Now in its 38th year, ISDC attracts attendees from more than 20 countries. It brings together leading industry leaders, policymakers, engineers, scientists and educators from the civilian, military, commercial, entrepreneurial and grassroots advocacy space sectors to work toward a common goal of developing a spacefaring civilization.
