Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) has announced that, during the firm's second quarter of fiscal 2020, their Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc.(which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment) received a contract valued at $1.3 million for rack-mounted, Ku-Band, high-power traveling wave tube amplifier (“TWTA”) systems for a MILSATCOM ground system.

Fred Kornberg, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said the versatility of Comtech Xicom Technology’s touch-screen amplifiers can be seen in this multi-amp system. The end-customer is happy with the technical performance of the Comtech design and has come back to the company for additional installations.
