At CABSAT 2012, visitors to Newtec’s booth S-G12 will find the company’s new revolutionary Clean Channel Technology™, IP broadband Ku-, Ka- and multiservice solutions, converging broadcast technologies, as well as IP trunking and backbone markets high on the agenda
 
At CABSAT 2012 Newtec will be displaying its broadband, Sat3Play® Ku, Ka and multiservice solutions for B2B and B2C markets, converging broadcast technologies and IP trunking and backbone markets. It will also launch its latest revolutionary product called Clean Channel Technology, further increasing DVB-S and DVB-S2 transmission throughputs of existing and new video and IP networks.
 
Newtec is a strong presence in satellite video and IP trunking solutions. As such it will be showing its latest product innovations and developments in this domain. The cutting edge Newtec EL501 Elevation Hub combines state-of-the-art modulation with IP shaping and satellite segment bandwidth management. The Hub also incorporates renowned FlexACM® technology which fully optimises the satellite link, coupled with the new CCT technology.
 
At CABSAT Newtec will also be looking to strengthen its relationship with existing channel partners and meet new partners too. It recently unveiled a new strategy named the bePART® Business Programme that ensures partners can access the company’s comprehensive and unique range of products quickly and easily. The partner program is particularly relevant in the Middle East where Newtec has introduced the Multimedia Exchange Network Over Satellite (MENOS®) system. Together with its partners, Newtec is now offering extended products and solutions for Fast News Gathering (FNG) and TV HD contribution and exchange. MENOS allows video and audio material to be shared amongst sites across a large geographical area, as well as IP-based services such as VoIP and corporate VPNs.
 
Newtec will also be showing its recently extended cutting edge IP acceleration product portfolio at CABSAT. The high speed Performance Enhancement Proxy (PEP) appliance is the latest member of the PEP-Box® family. The acceleration technology is also part of Newtec’s FlexACM® and Cross-Layer-OptimizationTM offering. With TCP acceleration up to 155 Mbits/s and 60,000 TCP connections it stands out. It includes the newest Newtec acceleration technology which ensures operators get the most out of the available satellite bandwidth, while at the same time significantly increasing the end user’s experience.
 
Newtec’s High Speed PEP-Box® In 2012 Newtec will be further increasing its efforts for customers in the Middle East, finding new partners and launching innovative new solutions and products. Now and in the future Newtec is committed to its position in the market as an independent technology provider of choice. Also, at CABSAT, Newtec will present its new Bandwidth Cancellation solution to optimize satellite links in SCPC, MCPC and inclined orbit satellite network configurations. The Newtec Bandwidth Cancellation solution allows cancellation for multiple transponder sizes up to 72 MHz. Newtec cancellation outperforms market standards which makes it ideal for medium and high data rate IP applications over satellite.
