ORBIT Communication Systems, Ltd., a subsidiary of Orbit Technologies Ltd. (TASE:ORBI) has recruited Dr. Carlo Rizzo to head up the Company's Telemetry and Earth Observation business. A seasoned industry expert, Dr. Rizzo brings in-depth knowledge of telemetry systems along with over 15 years' experience in the sales of consultative system solutions. Most recently, he served as Director of European Operations for a major U.S.-based Antenna Measurement System supplier. Previously, Dr. Rizzo was U.K. Operations Manager for ORBIT/FR, a former subsidiary of ORBIT Communication Systems Ltd. In addition, Dr. Rizzo is a member of the IET (The Institution of Engineering and Technology), the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) and the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA).

Dr. Rizzo holds a PhD degree in Antenna Measurements from the University of Sheffield, a Master of Science Degree in Radio Frequency Communication Engineering from the University of Bradford, a Certificate in Management from the U.K.'s Open University and a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of York. Working out of ORBIT's UK offices, Dr. Rizzo will play a key role in leading ORBIT's efforts to expand its presence in the European market and will act as a prime contact for ORBIT's local European customers.
