Following a large demand for remote communications caused by the mining boom, Pactel International recruits another sales manager to operate from their office in Perth.

Mike Hipkins will be responsible for managing all communications service contracts in the resources and energy sectors spanning across Australia’s West Coast. Having recently worked as a Business Development Manager at Optus and with over 30 years experience in the telecommunications industry across three continents and multiple industry sectors, Mike adds a great deal of experience to Pactel’s management team.

“Our Perth-based customers will have immediate access to a more responsive, locally-based support system as a result of this recruitment ”, said Andrew Taylor, Chief Executive Officer at Pactel International. “Having worked with some high-calibre clients such as Chevron, Mamahon and Anglogold, we are confident Mike will manage our existing customer accounts in a robust manner as well as assist the company on our West Coast expansion journey“, Mr Taylor added.
