Dan Losada, Senior Director of the Defense & Intelligence Systems Division at Hughes, will discuss how shipboard satellite communications are critical to maintaining net-centric operations during missions at the SIA SATCOM User's Workshop. He will also outline the availability of morale boosting applications to keep sailors in touch with families and friends while operating within the enhanced security requirements of the military.

In addition, Mr. Losada will address how Hughes and the satellite industry are supporting the military in helping meet its future net-centric tactical communications needs while at sea, in air, or on land. The Navy SATCOM Users' Workshop will be held on February 3, 2010, from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California.
