At IBC 2011, VISLINK will feature its latest wireless camera and satcom technology as well as new products from Gigawave, which are now part of the VISLINK brand, at two stands. The Hall 1 (A61) location will be for new offerings from VISLINK, as well as appropriate Gigawave products; and Gigawave technology will be showcased in the outside exhibitor area (115) with relevant VISLINK products in the mix.
VISLINK will feature its ADVENT LYNX 5200 H.264 IRD with DVB-S2 modulation capabilities that offers substantial benefits to satcom broadcasters. VISLINK will also demo new LINK Research digital pre-distortion (LDPD) wireless camera technology, flawlessly deployed for the first time to cover The 2011 Open Golf Championship in Sandwich, Kent, during often treacherous weather conditions. Gigawave will use IBC 2011 to demonstrate the latest version of its highly successful D-Cam 'Clip-on' wireless camera system, which together with the new MVL-HD3 'Diversity' receiver now comes with ultra low-latency MPEG4 H.264 encoding/decoding. The MVL-HD3 also features a compact head dual-antenna RF 'Head' Unit. LINK wireless camera systems have a number of unique features, including the ability to use a camera manufacturers' RCP's; field swappable RF modules from 1.95 - 7.5GHz; a choice of standard DVB-T modulation; and LINK's own LMS-T, which provides superior RF signal integrity.
