COM DEV International Ltd. [TSX:CDV], a leading manufacturer of space hardware subsystems, today announced that Claude Séguin has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Mr. Séguin has been a senior executive at multinational technology service provider CGI Group since 2003, currently serving as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategic Investments, following an earlier role as Senior VP, Finance and Strategic Investments.

Prior to CGI, Mr. Séguin was President of CDP Capital - Private Equity, a unit of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. From 1992 to 2000, he was Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Teleglobe Inc. Mr. Séguin also had a successful career in public service, ultimately serving for five years as Deputy Minister of the Québec Finance Ministry.
