TeamCast... @ NAB 2012 With... (Event—SatBroadcasting™—Hardware + Software)

[SatNews] At the NAB 2012 Show, TeamCast will be showing several new products that address various market segments worldwide...

...such as satellite applications, DVB-S/DVB-S2, DVB-T/DVB-T2, ISDB-T/TB, DTMB/CMMB, ATSC as well as wireless video links transmission, and Test & Measurement The new products include...

  • MHX-3320, a new high-end Digital Radio modulator for DAB/DAB+/DMB networks. MHX-3320 features Digital Adaptive Pre-correction (DAP) circuits to run high power Digital Radio transmitters more efficiently and closer to their saturation region. MHX-3320 comes as a compact and reliable OEM modulator, ready to be integrated. It will enable transmitter manufacturers to design more efficient Digital Radio transmission products that will contribute to play a key role in reducing recurrent OPEX costs for Broadcasters.
  • MNG3: Compact OEM modulator for robust ENG video links, up to 40 Mbps, and is both a compact and robust OEM modulator for equipment manufacturers and system designers who want to build a reliable and efficient mobile wireless link. Thanks to its COFDM and Single carrier embedded waveforms, MNG3 is the right solution for all your application requirements (ENG, Datalink…) in LOS and NLOS transmissions. In combination with RNG3, this new 4 way diversity demodulator, enables customers to create 40 Mbits/s links using frequencies between 2 and 3 GHz, even at high speed (> 200 km/h).

  • ODYSSEY: The DVB-T2 Signal Analyzer is ideal to analyze the quality and the characteristics of any DVB-T2 signals in la aboratory environment. Its large screen allows users to visualize spectrum, constellation (L1 and PLP), MER+SNR and EVM, power level, power distribution, shoulders (right and left), delay profiles: all the DVB-T2 features. Fully compliant to the ETSI-302755 standard, Odyssey automatically detects the modulation parameters and can demodulate PLPs to supply the content to any decoder.
  • MT2-2000/3000: new software release now allows full DVB-T2 Lite support and is new software for the Company's second generation DVB-T2 modulator called MT2, which now supports multi-frame capability for DVB-T2 Lite and DVB-T2 Base simultaneous transmission. Performing both DVB-T and DVB-T2 modulation, MT2 also features redundant IP inputs saving architecture complexity and costs. It is available in two product ranges: MT2-2000 is a compact and cost-effective solution for Low/medium power transmitters, whereas MT2-3000 implements Digital Adaptive Pre-correction (DAP) algorithm, for optimizing high power transmitters’ efficiency.
  • RQX-1410: now with Advanced QoS Measurements for DVB-T and DVB-T2 standards is a very powerful and easy to integrate set of OEM modules for continuous, real-time monitoring of DTV networks. The RQX product family includes several models for ISDB-T/TB, DVB-T and DVB-T2 standards. The new S110 firmware release features Advanced Measurements for DVB-T and DVB-T2 on the same hardware platform, providing high level of MER, accurate RF input signal level, Spectrum, constellation and Channel Impulse Response displays, in addition to classic demodulation status. This new software release now enables network operators to take full benefit of the RQX monitoring features, while preparing a smooth transition from DVB-T to DVB-T2.
