TIBA Snaps Up NSS-806 Capacity


NSS-806 satellite SES NEW SKIES, an SES company (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG), has announced that TIBA (Telepuerto Internacional Buenos Aires) has signed a new multi-transponder, multi-year agreement for satellite capacity on the NSS-806 satellite at the orbital location of 319.5 degrees East.

With this new 7 year agreement, TIBA now has a total of 187.4 MHz on NSS-806 under contract. TIBA, an Argentine company founded in 1992, is a leading Latin American provider of satellite, telecommunications, and full management content services for television signals. TIBA owns teleports equipped with state-of-the-art technology in Argentina and today provides operations to prestigious broadcasters and has on board more than 120 television channels such as Disney Channel, Disney Play House, Jettix, ESPN, ESPN +, Fox, Fox Life, FOX HD, National Geographic, Baby TV, Utilisima, Nat Geo Music, Universal Channel, Telefé, Canal 7 Argentina, TeleSur, Peru TV, and Panamericana, among others.
