The is the latest addition to Advantech Wireless’ line of weather-proof DVB-RCS remote terminals. The S6920 is a complete DVB-RCS/SCPC modem that is designed to be installed as an outdoor modem. It is specially designed to sustain harsh environments and support military in theater, mission critical operations. Advantech Wireless S6920 VSAT terminals are IP modems supporting DVB-S2 or DVB-RCS waveforms, providing Point-to-Point or Point-to-MultiPoint IP connectivity with industry leading performance. It is optimized to achieve high-performance and quick response time for governmental and military applications in an economical fashion.
Advantech Wireless experts will be on hand to present the Next Generation of DVB/S2 dual waveform Hub, supporting the highest remote throughput, highest dynamic spectral efficiency, software defined expansion and multiple services all within a single platform.
Also featured is the new generation of Solid State Power Amplifiers based on Satellite GAN Technology, supporting C-, Ku-, Ka- and X-bands with smaller package factor, less power consumption and more linear power available. These amplifiers were designed for high reliability operating in harsh environment during prolonged periods of time.
