CPI... Power Pusher

Communications & Power Industries (CPI) Satcom Division has introduced an enhanced version of its Ku-band High Power SSPB. This 13.75 to 14.50 GHz, fully integrated unit is one of the lightest and smallest on the market and operates in ambient temperatures up to 60ºC.

The new SSPB measures 6.5 x 6.2 x 13.1 inches and can operate locked to an external reference or to its own internal reference. Coupled with its rich M&C features, this product is the ideal choice for next generation, lightweight SATCOM systems. “Our earlier SSPB is an outstanding design, producing more power per cubic inch than any similar product on the market,” said Andy Tafler, President and General Manager of CPI Satcom Division. “But further thermal and mechanical design enhancements have resulted in a smaller product that also features DC voltage input with an option for AC.

CPI Satcom Division manufactures and supplies high power amplifiers and networks for satellite communication uplink and high power wireless applications. CPI has shipped over 25,000 amplifiers to 156 countries worldwide, and supports its customers with an unsurpassed 24-hour service network.
