MITEQ is debuting their new Block Up- and Downconverter models that offer an internal slope adjustment feature, permitting compensation of gain slope over a 1GHz bandwidth. Models are available in all bands thru Ka-Band. The space savings 1/3 rack size permits in a standard 1 RU rack space the configuration of a redundant block converter system using two 1/3 rack converted and a 1/3 rack NSU switch over unit. Other redundant configurations or RF and IF satcom signal distribution systems can configures in a 1 RU space using other members of the MITEQ 1/3 rack product family;

The MITEQ Ka-Band Low Noise Block Converter series offers exceptional Low Noise Figure of 2.2dB at 20.2GHz and is now available for VSAT outdoor antenna mount applications. The LNBs include an integrated RF input waveguide isolator providing input VSWR of 1.3:1. The series covers all the Ka receive bands with either 500 MHz or 1 GHz bandwidth and 60 dB gain. The L-Band IF output is provided on a type N connector. Also, the IF L-Band output can be provided on a fiber optic link using an internal fiber optic transmitter option with a companion FO remotely located receiver included with the FO IF option.
The new UPC2 Uplink Power Control can control as many as 12 independent uplink channels using an intuitive, color touch screen display for programing and status. Remote control is available using Ethernet interface supporting HTTP, Telnet, and SNMP v1 communications.
