What a refreshing process Newtec has devised — to further improve their products' usability, installation and operation they are redefining their entire product line that pertains to the satellite and communications industry. In other words, they are listening to their customers and are providing products and market needs for products that are easy to understand, purchase, install and operate, and will unveil the results of this extensive program at IBC2008 in Amsterdam, September 11-16.

As a result of this program, more than 40 new professional equipment products introduced, are all organized into three easily identifiable product families;

• Azimuth, for broadcast and telco applications
• Elevation for the transmission of IP over satellite
• Horizon for the satellite primary distribution of mobile and terrestrial TV

Improved features of the product lines include new basic unit configuration designed specifically for targeted application; option systems that allow easy understanding and usability; and a new product numbering system that enables quick identification of the family and functionality of the device. Finally, all of these new products, which aim to increase the performance and flexibility of a range of devices, remain fully compatible with their legacy components.
