- BUSINESS — ORBCOMM (NASDAQ: ORBC) has reached an agreement with the largest Canadian wireless carrier that will expand ORBCOMM’s terrestrial and dual mode wireless services with the addition of GSM service in Canada. The agreement allows ORBCOMM to offer blended plans that incorporate both cellular and satellite wireless services at one low price. The combined rate plans will be marketed by ORBCOMM and its partners to address a diverse range of applications that require ubiquitous coverage and high-data rate capability.
