Its consumer high-speed satellite Internet service in North America is growing at an accelerated rate since the launch of HughesNet® Gen4 service in October of 2012, powered by the EchoStar XVII Ka-band satellite with JUPITER™ high throughput technology—with more than 200,000 HT terminals shipped in the last quarter of 2012.
