EchoStar Corporation (NASDAQ: SATS) has reported total revenue of $584 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2011, a 3.1 percent decrease compared with $603 million for the corresponding period in 2010. EchoStar reported net income attributable to common shareholders of $18 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2011, compared with a net loss of $41 million during the corresponding period in 2010. Diluted earnings per share were $0.21 for the quarter ended June 30, 2011, compared with a loss per share of $0.49 for the corresponding period in 2010.
