International Datacasting... Moving On Up...


[SatNews] International Datacasting Corporation (TSX:IDC) has formed their Executive Management Team with new appointments in key executive positions.

“The Executive Management Team represents the core group that is directly responsible for IDC’s operating performance in the areas of executive leadership, sales, operations, marketing, finance and technology. We have worked hard to recruit and to build this team over the last twelve months, and it is a testament to their vast experience and expertise that we make this announcement,” said Adam E. Adamou, Executive Chairman.
  • Rudi Polednik — As Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, Rudi Polednik is responsible for developing and directing IDC’s global sales process and strategy. In this capacity, Mr. Polednik will manage revenue growth across all customers, channels, geographic and market segments. Previously, he served as Senior Director, International Sales at RGB Networks, Inc., a digital video technology firm based in Sunnyvale, CA. Mr. Polednik has also held progressive positions at Envivio Inc., first as Sales Director, then more recently as Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Mr. Polednik holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Imperial College in London, England.

  • Fred Kokaska — In the newly created role of Vice President, Product Management, Fred Kokaska is responsible for the development of IDC product concepts and life cycle management, including new product introductions. Previously, Mr. Kokaska was President, Logic Innovations, LLC, joining IDC when Logic Innovations was acquired in December, 2009. Mr. Kokaska is based out of IDC’s San Diego office. Prior to this, Mr. Kokaska served as Director of Enterprise Video Systems at SYS Technologies Inc., a division of Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, Inc.

  • Steve Miller — As Vice President of Business Operations, Steve Miller is responsible for all aspects of Engineering and Manufacturing Operations. In this newly created role, Mr. Miller will oversee planning, budgeting, materials management, and engineering effectiveness. Previously, he served as Vice President, Product Development at QuStream Corporation, where he oversaw engineering, manufacturing and product development. Mr. Miller has also served as Director of Engineering at Grass Valley Inc. and as Vice President and COO of Leitch Technology Corporation (now part of Harris Canada Systems, Inc.) where he was responsible for all aspects of the Leitch Server Division.
