Guardian Mobility... Additional Airworthy GPS Adds

Guardian Mobility has announced an upgrade to its Guardian Mapping, Enhanced ,and Premium Editions to help its customers get the most out of their Guardian Mapping. This upgrade is automatic for all customers who currently subscribe to these mapping services and will reduce bandwidth use by 90 percent.

Guardian Mobility offers a full range of GPS tracking and satellite communications solutions for aircraft, devices that run on the Iridium and Globalstar satellite networks. The upgrades to the Enhanced Edition will include updated nomenclature and airport icons when zoomed in, as well as event based trip processing where the user can select desired trip start and end tags. Also, the configuration of events will now be controlled by the user, with the ability to program event severity and event labels, and select the notification method delivery on the Map, by E-mail or by SMS.

Guardian Mapping, Premium Edition builds on the features of the Enhanced Edition. Customers who currently subscribe to the Premium Edition will receive all features noted for the Enhanced Edition plus some additional features. The Premium Edition map will now include aviation weather with TAFs and METARs, available world-wide.

Guardian Mobility customers who currently operate Flightcell DZM devices, or any other Guardian device with multi-point payloads, will take advantage of having breadcrumbs positions transmitted in the same payload. This will increase system efficiency, yielding more effective cost per transmissions while maximizing tracking accuracy.
