Former SES AMERICOM executive Brent Bruun is KVH's [Nasdaq: KVHI] new Vice President of Business Development, and his focus is on expanding mini-VSAT Broadband coverage. Bruun will be instrumental in assisting KVH's planned worldwide rollout of the mini-VSAT Broadband satellite communications service.
Expansion will provide service coverage in new regions, supporting leisure, commercial, and government vessels while offering opportunities to strengthen KVH's growing satellite communications products and airtime services revenue streams. Bruun will help lead an expansion effort that will include acquisition of satellite capacity from satellite operators as well as the purchase of new regional satellite hubs for the global rollout of KVH's mini-VSAT Broadband service.
