A Company To Watch — Bushtex

Bushtex logo Bushtex Inc., a global SATCOM provider, has been named one of Comerica Bank’s “Arizona Companies to Watch.” The awards, which serve to honor excellence in the often overlooked category of second-stage companies, recognizes privately held Arizona-based businesses that employ 6 to 100 full-time employees and contribute $750,000 to $100 million in annual revenue to the local economy. Bushtex Inc. was recognized for their widespread capabilities in transmitting satellite signals to and from remote areas of the world in critical, high-alert situations. In addition to their proficiency in satellite transmission, Bushtex Inc. was celebrated for their role in several groundbreaking projects, including facilitating the data transmission from an airplane to various federal agencies on behalf of the U.S. Coast Guard, which was the first ever unmanned aerial vehicle flight transmission in history.  They are also involved with broadcasting many high level sports, entertainment, and news events around the world, including the Winter and Summer Olympic Games since 1996, Presidential election, and party convention coverages, and high conflict war zones to television networks worldwide in real time.
