Megahertz, now rebranded and part of KIT digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: KITD), a software solutions and services provider for multi-screen video management and delivery, and ATEME have announced at IBC2011 the next outside broadcast vehicle designed by the U.K.-based systems integrator for Via Storia will include the latest encoding innovations for SNG operations. ATEME will supply Kyrion CM4101 encoders and DR8400 decoders for the project, enabling MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 transmissions with up to 4:2:2 10-bit coding precision and up to 1080p50 or 60 resolution and frame rate.
