The ASE Docking Stations can also seamlessly connect to the Iridium network via any standard office or land-line or wireless analog phone. The ASE Docking Stations offer features such as Advanced Tone Management, especially useful when dealing with extensions or calling trees. ASE also provides “Smart Dialing” that eliminates confusion when there are various country codes in use. The ASE Docking Stations can also accept Live Docking and Undocking with bright, illuminated status icons that show calling progress, satellite in view, and data transmission and there is a status icon that shows when the 9555 Handheld is not properly docked. There's a secure locking mechanism and the phone can be removed from the Docking Station almost instantly when situations require “grab-and-go” scenarios.
