NSSL Global... Spotted, A New Beam (SATCOM)


[SatNews] Aboard the SES NSS6 satellite, the Company has opened up a new spot beam for maritime use in southeast Asia...

Global satellite communications provider NSSLGlobal is announcing their latest milestone in increasing satellite communications coverage and reliability for the maritime industry. The new NSSLGlobal 'spot beam' on SES' NSS6 satellite at 95 degrees East is online as of this writing to support shipping in South East Asia. The new beam, which will be supported from NSSLGlobal's Cyprus hub, will provide additional capacity as well as beam and hub redundancy for maritime users along the many busy shipping routes in the South East Asia area, including Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. The beam will enhance NSSLGlobal's already extensive coverage in the area.
