Verimatrix is providing a comprehensive security architecture enabling end-to-end encryption for multi-channel SD and HD broadcasts from the IP-PRIME Broadcast Center, while enabling seamless integration of local broadcast and Video-on-Demand (VOD) services. This solution, compatible with the Nokia Siemens Networks’ Home Entertainment IPTV middleware, will allow operators the ability to roll out a complete package of IPTV services quickly and at cost savings never before thought possible.

SES AMERICOM's IP-PRIME Gets Content Security From Verimatrix
Verimatrix has announced SES AMERICOM is adopting the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS) for IPTV content security for the IP-PRIME distribution service targeted to North American telecom operators. Providing end-to-end content security for flexible combinations of centralized or distributed subscriber architectures is an essential component of the technology roadmap for VCAS for IPTV.
