Globe Wireless is currently in final testing with Iridium on the Iridium OpenPort platform. This testing includes all aspects of the service and associated hardware and software. The service and the various service speeds are being rated under load, using the Globe range of email services and applications. This includes the mail services of the Globe i4, GCC, and Rydex. The Globe ShipShape applications are also being fully tested, including the SSAS product. Extensive preparations are underway to ensure that the Iridium billing system is set up for the new pricing plans and the systems can bill the new service. Globe Wireless is well advanced in the completion of the ordering of the new service and preparations of a secure pipe for those customers who want to be able to control the amount of traffic and browsing that is passed on the pipe.
