Veterans' Day, November 11, A Day To Honor Our Heroes

Today is November 11, Veteran's Day, a day for many spent away from their usual routines. Regardless of your opinion of the current conflicts, we all have great admiration and respect for those who leave behind the comforts of their usual routines to head out into perilous situations to ensure that others remain safe.

Veterans Day 2004 - World War II veteran and Pear Harbor survivor, Houston James, emotionally embracing Iraq War veteran, Marine Sgt. Mark Graunke, Jr., who lost a hand, leg, and eye when defusing a bomb in 2003.

November 11 is a day in which we take the time to remember, honor and thank those who have served, are currently serving or who have given their ultimate — their all — for us to enjoy the freedoms and priviledges that they have fought for in order to keep our country safe for us.

To all our veterans, the staff and publisher of Satnews.com, SatMagazine, and MilsatMagazine thank you. Satnews postings will resume Friday, November 12.
