ScheduALL...Golf Channel Takes ScheduLINK To The Links

[SatNews] Golf Channel's operations are now well managed using ScheduLINK to further Golf Channel's production operations in conjunction with best-practice business tools for bookings, resource management and invoicing. ScheduLINK, ScheduALL's transmission platform, delivers built-in tools to allocate capacity, configure and route satellite and antenna transmissions for viewing.

ScheduALL serves a majority of leading sports organizations, including MLB, NBA, NFL and the NBC Olympics among others, that have particularly high scheduling demands. ScheduALL's product triggers actions throughout the media production supply chain, alleviating human error and promoting project integrity with regard to planned deadlines and costs. It also tracks and manages resources to empower businesses with the visibility to bring resource utilization in line with production capacity. ScheduALL continues to build solutions that assist sports organizations in driving operational efficiency and business growth by promoting an open exchange for future planning, as exemplified by the ScheduALL Sports Summit.

"Today, businesses are looking for ways to do things smarter, and that's why we chose ScheduALL to manage our in-house productions," says Ken Botelho, Senior Director of Engineering, Golf Channel. "We're able to leverage a robust toolset to get the most out of our resources, facilities, people and equipment, and the transmission component, ScheduLINK, will allow us to manage our feeds and workflow more consistently, cutting down on project expenses and potential downtime."

Golf Channel uses ScheduLINK to book domestic and international transmission feeds with vendors such as Intelsat and NEP. Feeds can include tournaments, news events and weekly shows. With ScheduLINK, they are able to book work orders for satellite or antenna transmissions, determine requirements and request confirmation from vendors for standard 18MHz and HD broadcasting, all in one cohesive, interoperable platform.

"The Golf Channel is an impressive operation with an exceptional brand and we are excited to contribute to their highly complex feeds and events," said Joel Ledlow, CEO, ScheduALL. "The ability to serve both the daily operation needs of today, as well as address their growing collaboration needs of tomorrow are unique capabilities and the value we bring to partners like the Golf Channel. We are delighted to have the opportunity to serve."
