WEGENER 4600 sat receiver Wegener Corporation's WEGENER® Unity® 4600 satellite media receiver now supports nexgen DVB-S2 satellite demodulation as a standard feature. With its advanced coding and Forward Error Correction (FEC) options, DVB-S2 modulation provides broadcasters’ with additional flexibility to manage inclement weather, satellite service provider limitations, and bandwidth consumption. WEGENER’s Unity 4600 was designed to meet the live broadcasting needs of professional media networks. It has built-in analog, digital A/V and ASI outputs. The Unity 4600 is part of WEGENER’s family of products that provide end-to-end management of live and file-based workflows, as well as reliable monitoring of receiver status, even at unmanned receive sites.  By using WEGENER’s Compel® network control system to control Unity 4600 satellite receivers, a network operator can control decryption of multiple programs at any remote site and pass only the programs authorized for that receiver as a digital ASI output.
