For more than 20 years, Controls has been providing state-of-the-art controls for engines and engine driven equipment. By leveraging Field Intelligence’s expertise in developing wireless communication solutions for industrial and environmental markets, Controls is providing a wireless remote asset management solution for control panel products for non-road engines with a standard interface for communications and diagnostics. Enabled by the ORBCOMM satellite network, Field Intelligence’s full integrated, turnkey solution allows Controls’ customers to track engine equipment anywhere in the world and monitor engine performance, including alarm functions and maintenance alerts. This advanced telemetry product gives customers the flexibility to achieve a higher level of engine support, improving equipment use and efficiency for their assets worldwide. It also helps meet the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) new standards for reducing emissions from non-road diesel engines by incorporating engine and fuel control technologies into the Field Intelligence application.
