OmniGlobe Networks, Inc, the privately held telecommunications company specializing in the delivery of cellular, broadband Internet and SATCOM services globally, has appointed Luigi Lo Basso as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.  Mr Lo Basso brings more than 20 years experience and succeeds Peter Hodge who served as CFO since 2006. Luigi's experience encompasses senior finance and administration management roles in the telecommunications and manufacturing industries. Luigi was responsible for managing Bell Canada’s $10 billion corporate budget and was Financial and Operations Director for BCI’s Asian division, involving the financial due diligence of a $300 million acquisition of a South Korean cellular company.  Luigi was responsible for the restructuring of the accounting and finance departments, leading the South Korean company from the brink of bankruptcy to an IPO that generated $1 billion cash gain for BCI.
