[SatNews] With hot-swappable redundancy operation, this new series covers L-band and IF ranges...
RF-Design has introduced its new RF line-amplifiers series — RLA250. The RLA250 series features compact 1:1 redundant line-amplifiers covering L-band (950...2.150MHz) and IF (40...200MHz) frequency ranges. The units are perfectly suited for RF distribution networks where accurate RF power and highest stability and availability is necessary. The RLA250 amplifiers are equipped with two amplifiers providing a max. gain of 25dB so to reach best RF performance within the network. The redundancy switching between the two amplifiers is done nearly interruption free within a switchover time of less than 5ms. The amplifier modules are inserted in the front of the unit ,offering 1:1 hot-swappable redundancy operation.
This high quality amplifier are ideally for usage and integration in teleports, satellite Earth stations, up- and downlink stations, broadcasters and cable-tv operators.
The RLA250 amplifiers also feature RF in and output monitoring, adjustable gain via MGC or AGC, LNBsupply
and 1:1 power-supply redundancy (hot swapabble). The units are equipped with front panel LCDisplay and keypads for user-friendly local configuration while remote access, configuration and control can be realized via web interface and SNMP. The RLA250 amplifiers are the logical supplement of the former RLA230 amplifier series that is in use with
major satellite and teleport operators around the globe.
