Partners Group + Vizada... Financially Speaking...

[SatNews] Partners Group has invested in satellite communication services provider Vizada on behalf of its clients, Partners Group. The global private markets investment manager provided junior debt to Vizada, a global distributor of satellite communication services. Vizada is headquartered in Paris and has offices in Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, the United States, Brazil, Dubai, Algeria, Hong Kong and Singapore. Vizada was created in 2007 from the merger of the satellite services businesses of France Telecom SA and Telenor ASA and is owned by Apax France. Vizada has over 750 employees and is the leading independent global distributor of satellite communication services, buying bandwidth from satellite operators and reselling it to clients and local service providers with a range of value-added services. The group has performed well during the downturn due to the underlying growth in its core business, namely commercial maritime and defense markets and management's ability to deliver cost synergies. Due to the growth in the aeronautical segment and rising demand from emerging markets, the satellite communications industry is expected to continue to grow steadily over the coming years.
