...Business Internet Continuity services within the U.K. from its HYLAS 1 satellite with Onyx Group Limited. Established in 1994, Onyx Group is one of the U.K.'s leading technology providers, specializing in business continuity, data centres, network services, cloud and managed services. The services Avanti are providing to Onyx add further capability to their renowned Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery offerings. Neil Stephenson, Onyx Group Limited CEO, said, “The extensive testing we conducted with Avanti convinced us that satellite connectivity is a critical part of the capability needed to deliver network continuity. Avanti are the UK’s leading satellite operator delivering services into the business sector and with their cost effective approach, working with them was a natural choice.”

The Company has also sold HYLAS 1 capacity to satellite broadband provider, Ethnet Limited, via three year contract that is worth a minimum of 660,000 pounds. The capacity will be used to deliver satellite connectivity for a variety of applications in use by Ethnet’s fast growing U.K. enterprise and consumer customer base. Ethnet specializes in supplying communications services and equipment to remote locations as well as short-term hire for events, exhibitions, road shows and film production companies. With the rollout of its new motorized self acquiring solution, the SAMS-M1, it is looking to establish itself at the forefront of motorized satellite solutions.
