BAE Systems has named Gene Glazar president of its newly formed Information Solutions business, based in Reston.

Glazar was previously vice president of business development for the company's former Customer Solutions operating group. BAE Systems' Information Solutions is among the 10 largest IT providers to the U.S. government, serving most of the federal defense and civilian marketplace. It also provides network-centric command, control, computing, and intelligence solutions to the U.S. military; wideband networking radio systems; information systems for the U.S. intelligence community; and geospatial information services. The business employs almost 8,000 people at facilities across the United States.
