TeamCast, involved in Mobile TV and DTV transmission technology, has released a new software version for its DVB-T2 modulator, the Power4-T2, which supports the new T2-MI input stream interface as well as the SFN (Single Frequency Network) operating mode. The new S110 software release is already available and provides the capability to operate SFN networks in full compliance with the DVB-T2 standard. The development work for this release has involved both the design of the T2-MI modulator input interface in compliance with the ETSI TS 102 773 specification and the integration of the synchronization mechanisms required for SFN.
