[SatNews] ScheduALL has once again joined forces with global network solution provider Net Insight to service The Switch, one of the country’s fastest growing terrestrial bandwidth providers.
The partnership was officially announced on April 12 by Scott Beers, CEO of The Switch, who made the announcement at the company’s 20th Anniversary Celebration at Wynn Las Vegas. The gala celebration was attended by executives of all three companies, who were in Las Vegas for the 2011 NAB Show, produced by the National Association of Broadcasters. To accelerate its expansion plans, The Switch selected two leaders in the broadcast, satellite/transmission, media, and entertainment industries. ScheduALL is the premier global provider of advanced Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) and collaboration solutions for the broadcast, satellite/transmission, media, and entertainment industries. The company’s ScheduLink solution is the industry gold standard for transmission configuration, as well as the scheduling and management of occasional use circuits and bandwidth. Net Insight is the leading provider of versatile and scalable broadcast and transmission transport solutions. Its Nimbra™ platform is the industry solution for video, voice and data, reducing operating costs by 50 percent and enhancing the delivery of new and existing media services.
The two companies’ collaboration leverages ScheduLINK’s powerful abilities to schedule, configure, price and manage circuit bookings across Nimbra networks, enhancing its ability to serve as a customer focused front-end for managing terrestrial bookings. Net Insight integrates ScheduLINK with Nimbra Vision, the Network Management System (NMS) for the Nimbra network. ScheduLINK, together with ScheduALL’s Network Circuit Selection module, creates a robust, full-scale solution delivering user-friendly graphical tools that display availability, create circuit bookings (including occasional use bookings) and manage client pricing, from work orders through invoicing, complete with utilization reporting. The integrated combination of ScheduLINK and Nimbra Vision provides a synergistic and highly collaborative and efficient end-to-end solution that delivers a host of benefits, including active conflict checking, better visibility and monitoring, faster decision making, reduced human errors and improved margins and ROI.
