Sonny Marshall, President & CEO of Marshall Communications Corporation (MARSHALL), will be speaking at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Military & Government Summit (“Trends in Mission Critical Video & Data”), scheduled to take place April 13-15, 2010 in the Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Marshall will be participating on a panel session on Tuesday, April 13th, entitled “Trends in Infrastructure: Commercial vs. Military.”
The panel will focus on networking challenges based on the demands of a new infrastructure. Mr. Marshall’s discussion will be focused on the use of full motion video (FMV) in today’s battlespace and the valuable role they play in the deployment of mission critical communications links to the mobile warfighter and networks that provide high speed net centric data and content fusion to the edge. In addition to participating in the NAB conference, Mr. Marshall recently presented to a highly attended “Full-Motion Video Conference” on March 15, 2010 at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. His presentation covered the “Potential UAV FMV Dissemination Technology Improvements for U.S. Forces”. Mr. Marshall also participated on a recent conference panel with the discussion entitled “Eyes in the Skies: UAVs, ISR, and Satellites.”
