The Name Game — Pacific Teleports Becomes Pactel International


Pactel Int'l logo Pacific Teleports has renamed their business to Pactel International, with immediate effect.

The company remains focused on flexible telecommunication solutions that provide added value for their customers. In addition, Pactel International prides itself on its ability to understand customers’ connectivity requirements and provides solutions guaranteed to meet individual needs and budgets. Co-founded in 2003 by Andrew Taylor and Steffen Holzt, both have more than 20 years experience in the satellite and telecommunications industry. Andrew has worked in various commercial and engineering roles at PanAmSat, Comsyst, Optus, and Telstra. Steffen started his career in satellite communications in Noumea with AntenneCal. In 2000, he founded Pacific IP Services in New Caledonia, which was merged into Pacific Teleports. Their services are designed for Telecommunication carriers, ISP’s, government organizations, corporate entitiess and businesses that requires dedicated connectivity solutions. Pactel International’s headquarters are in Sydney, Australia and its regional office is in Noumea, New Caledonia.
