[SatNews[ There is to be a change at the top of RUAG Space in Switzerland.

Axel Deich has decided to leave the company on June 30th to take up a new career challenge outside of RUAG. In addition to his duties as CEO, Peter Guggenbach will head RUAG Space in Switzerland. Axel Deich started as managing director of Contraves Space – later Oerlikon Space – with responsibility for space activities in Zürich-Seebach. Then, as Executive Vice President of RUAG Space Switzerland, he took on responsibility for all RUAG’s Swiss space activities. His most important successes include the strategic repositioning of RUAG Space Switzerland at its Seebach, Emmen and Nyon locations as part of the newly-created Space division.
