[SatNews] The Company has released a number of new documents to assist those in the SatCom community with their product families...
The first new literature release covers the Q-Band Series of SATCOM block up- and downconverters and test translators designed for use in secure, high performance satellite communications requirements. The outdoor, antenna mount WS series covers RF frequency band of 43.5 to 45.5 GHz with either a 500 MHz IF bandwidth or full 1 GHz wide L-band IF. Much higher IF bands are available in custom product derived from this new MITEQ WS product series. As with all MITEQ SATCOM converter products, the UPB-WS block upconverter and the DNB-WS provide excellent low phase noise and high dynamic range. The detailed technical specifications and descriptions of optional features including; low noise figure option, high output power, high gain, and many additional features are covered in MITEQ’s data sheet D-357B available at http://www.miteq.com/products/converter-systems/converter-systems.php.
MITEQ Inc. has also just released its new 20 page SATCOM Fiber Optics Brochure describing the broad range of MITEQ RF overall fiber products for SATCOM terminal applications. Applications as well as specific fiber optic link products covering from L-band through Ku-band are covered. Both indoor and outdoor versions are described. The popular 1/3 rack size package in which MITEQ provides its high performance converters also is used for the FO transmitters and receivers are also described. Other form factors such as card cage systems permitting the use of multiple FO transmitters and receivers spanning all the covered SATCOM bands are included. Integral LNAs with FO transmitters specifications are given. MITEQ can also provide complete FO SATCOM distribution systems. For more information, please see MITEQ’s D-306E brochure.
MITEQ has also released its comprehensive Spring 2011 Satellite Communication and Earth Station Equipment CD Catalog (CD-01M.02). It features approximately 2,000 pages of information, such as the upconverters, downconverters, block up- and downconverters, test translators, redundant switchover units, redundant amplifier systems and RF fiber optic links. Specific products include synthesized converters with 1 kHz step size, INMARSAT AFC capable converters, pilot generations and receivers, crystal controlled converters, and customer designed products. In addition, a full facility tour along with an explanation of MITEQ’s manufacturing and design capabilities is included.
