The new NSSLGlobal ‘spot beam’ on the SES NSS6 satellite at 95 degrees East is online today to support shipping in South East Asia. The new beam, which will be supported from NSSLGlobal’s Cyprus hub, will provide additional capacity as well as beam and hub redundancy for maritime users along the many busy shipping routes in the South East Asia area, including Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. The beam will enhance NSSLGlobal’s already extensive coverage in the area. NSSLGlobal operates a fully global DVBS2-RCS Network, providing leading edge communications solutions. The addition of this new beam is part of NSSLGlobal’s program of continued technological investment in the service and reach of its network.
